Note: M.2 SSD option below! This 120GB solid state drive will start your PC up in a fraction of the normal time! We'll put the operating system on this drive. The heatsink option will dissipate heat from the SSD to improve its health.
Note 2: You can downgrade to the Ryzen 3 1300X. The 1300X is faster, but has 4 cores, 4 threads instead of 4 cores 8 threads. The 1300X is better for gaming, the 1400 is better for higher-core performance, like games that require a Core i7 processor, or streaming while gaming.
Note 3: You can upgrade the processor below (Up to the best Ryzen 5 first generation). The cooler for the 1600X is the Cryorig H5 Ultimate.
Ryzen 3 1200: The lowest entry-level CPU, this processor runs 3.1GHz base and boosts to 3.4GHz. This CPU will game all your titles smoothly while saving you a hefty amount of cash.
Ryzen 3 1300X: Like the 1200 but it runs 3.5GHz base and 3.7GHz boost. If you games demand higher speed, this option will make a lot of difference.
Ryzen 5 1400 (Default): With a base speed of 3.2GHz and boost of 3.4GHz, this CPU may be a little slow, but it makes up for it with SMT (Simultaneous Multithreading) to give it a core count similar to an Intel Core i7 7th generation or older.
Ryzen 5 1500X (Recommended): This CPU is like the 1400 but it runs faster at 3.5GHz base and 3.7GHz boost. Definitely recommended upgrade if you were planning on sticking with the 1400!
Ryzen 5 1600: This CPU ups the core count to 6 with 12 threads, similar to Intel's Core i7-8700! The base speed of this CPU is 3.2GHz and it boosts up to 3.6GHz. This CPU is great for high-core intensive productivity. Great for gamers who want bragging rights or anti-malware to run quicker.
Ryzen 5 1600X: This unlocked CPU runs a base of 3.6GHz and boosts to 4GHz, while still retaining its 6 cores and 12 threads. If you want the fastest processor while also having the most cores, this is the CPU for you. With the beefy and powerful Cryorig heatsink, you'll be able to push this CPU well past 4GHz. This makes the Ryzen 5 1600X a more powerful option than the Core i7-8700!
